DOZENS DONATE LONG LOCKS FOR KIDS WITH CANCER AT 3RD ANNUAL HAIRCUTS FOR A CAUSE

We did it!

Two years ago, Global News Morning BC host Sonia Sunger was joined by nearly 30 people to donate their hair to the Canadian Cancer Society’s Wig Bank Program.

Last year, she did it again, inviting viewers to cut and donate their hair, this time in support of the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) and Wigs for Kids. The event quadrupled in size with more than 120 people donating their hair.

This year, Loyal Hair participated in the first ever Okanagan version of “Cuts for a Cause” and we couldn’t be more proud!

Dozens of people turned out Friday to get their hair cut and donate it to a group that makes wigs for children battling cancer. In total, 72 generous donors came to Global BC’s Burnaby Studio, Brush Salon in downtown Vancouver and Loyal Hair in Kelowna.
